This is in continuation to Council’s circular dated 16.04.2019 inviting application of member exporters for participation in Index Dubai Series, Dubai International Fair, Dubai during 17-19 September 2019. Council is pleased to inform that fair authority has accepted industry demand of reduced stall size of 6 sq.mtr for participation.
1.0 About Index Dubai Series:
Index Dubai is the best interior design exhibition. The event is organized by dmg Events and the event is attended by nearly 27500 most inspired, creative and influential members of design community. Being a part of INDEX means being a part of Design & Hospitality week 2019. The biggest and most important celebration of all things of Design & Hospitality in GCC.

1.2 Importance of doing business in the Middle East:
• The overall budget spending of the GCC countries increased to US$ 430 billion in 2018 registering 7% growth from 2017.
• Overall GCC interior contracting and fit out spend across all sector is forecast to grow by 9% in 2019 and is estimated to be worth US$ 8.7 billion by end of the year.
• GCC has firmly established itself as one of the leading and most exciting tourist destinations in the world.
• The GCC building construction projects expected to be completed across all sectors are forecast to increase to US$ 77 billion in 2019.
2.0 Participation fee details:

Please note that the stand sizes are available only from 6 sq.m and in multiples of 3 sq.m thereafter.
3.0 Grant eligibility
The event is organised under Market Access Initiative scheme of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.
• Member participants are entitled for participation under subsidised category availing grant only upto a maximum of three participations in a particular trade fair (including past cases).
• Maximum of two MAI events in a year is allowed for each member participant.
Further, the participants who had completed 12 months of membership with the council and having exports upto FOB Value of Rs.30 crore in preceding year will be entitled for a travel grant reimbursement for the travel of Regular director/Partner/Proprietor of the company upto Rs.70000/- (economy class air travel) or actual (whichever is less) or lumpsum amount whichever is to be approved by Ministry.
4.0 Selection Criteria
Selection will be on First Come First Served basis. Preference will be given to registered holders of India Handloom Brand & first-time participant of handloom products so that there will be at least a minimum of 30% (6 participants) IHB / first time member exhibitors in the event provided their applications along with required payment are received on or before the last date of receipt of application as stipulated in the circular.

Subletting the allotted stall.
5.0 Payment details
Advance of Rs.100000/- has to be paid along with the application.
Payment has to be made through any one of the following mode of payment.
Option-1: Online payment through payment gateway
Option-2: Payment through RTGS
Option-3: Payment through Demand Draft/at par multicity cheque in favour of Handloom Export Promotion Council payable at Chennai, if online/RTGS payment is not feasible.

Amount once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance except cancellation of fair participation by HEPC.
