Sub: Inviting applications from member exporters for participation in Heimtextil Fair during 7-10th January 2020– Reg.

Heimtextil is the biggest international trade fair for home and contract textiles and the global benchmark for quality design textiles of innovative functionality. The event is organised every year in January and is the annual starting buying season for manufacturers and trade visitors from all over the world. With its foremost global orientation, the event attracts visitors / exhibitors from all over the world. The event is organised by Messefrankfurt. Heimtextil has a stronger and more international slant than it has had for 15 years’. It is thus further consolidating its position as the world’s leading trade fair for home and contract textiles. Exhibitors and visitors accepted the new trade fair concept with great enthusiasm and confirmed the trade fair’s position as the world’s most important meeting place for the industry. The quality of the decision-makers impressed the exhibitors, as did the number of new business contacts from 156 countries, especially international ones thus enabling Heimtextil to set a new benchmark’

Council is participating in Heimtextil-2020, Frankfurt, Germany, during 7-10 January 2020. The space is offered in Hall 10.3  and 6.2

Last year, Council participated along with 56 member exporters from different regions across the country. As per the feedback received from the participants, spot order worth Rs.31.20 crore and business enquiries worth Rs.69.10 crore were generated during the event.

3.Grant eligibility

Member participants are entitled for participation under subsidised category availing grant only upto a maximum of three participations in a particular trade fair (including past cases).

Maximum of two MAI events in a year is allowed for each member participant.

Further, the participants who had completed 12 months of membership with the council and having exports of FOB Value up to Rs.30 crore in preceding financial year will be entitled for a travel grant reimbursement for the travel of Regular director/Partner/Proprietor of the company up to Rs.70000/- (economy class air travel) or actual (whichever is less) or lumpsum amount whichever is to be approved by Ministry.

4.Selection Criteria

Selection will be on First Come First Served basis.  Preference will be given to registered holders of India Handloom Brand & first-time participant of handloom products so that there will be at least a minimum of 30% (15 participants) IHB / first time member exhibitors in the event provided their applications along with required payment are received on or before the last date of receipt of application as stipulated in the circular.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES:

  • Open display of “price tags” and “Stock lot” tags on samples on display in the booth
  • Sale of stock lot in the booth
  • Encroaching on AISLE area and other activities which affect co-exhibitors
  • Subletting the allotted stall.

5.Payment details

50% of total participation fee payable along  with application and balance on demand by Council.

Amount once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance except cancellation of fair participation by HEPC.
