Sub: Inviting applications from member exporters for participation in 30th India Home Furnishing/ 40th India Garment Fair, held at Osaka, Japan during 17-19 July 2019 – Reg.

1.About IHF/IGF Fair:

The twin events namely India Home Furnishing / India Garment Fair have been successfully organized by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) for more than two decades and have proved to be catalysts in promoting India’s stake in the “quality conscious” Japanese market. During the last event,1st India Silk Fair (ISF) has been introduced and 65 Indian companies displayed their products in these exclusive India Shows and more than 2147 business visitors were visited. The trade visitors were from a cross-section of industry who has always patronized these B2B events.

For this upcoming edition to be held during 17 to 19 July 2019, Council has proposed to organize participation in this event as per annual action plan 2019-20 availing financial grant from the Ministry. The proposal is under process and awaiting approval.

2.Participation fee details:

Council is offering pre-equipped shell scheme stalls both in India Home furnishing Fair (Home textiles products) and India Garment Fair (Clothing accessories like stoles, scarves, shawls, etc.,) as per the details given below:

Please note that the stand sizes are available only on 9 sq.m and in multiples of 3 sq.m thereafter

 

A lumpsum of Rs.225000/- has to be paid along with the application. In case of approval from Ministry, subsidized participation fee as indicated in above table will be considered and the balance fee will be reimbursed / collected.

3.Grant eligibility

v  Member participants are entitled for participation under subsidised category availing grant only upto a maximum of three participations in a particular trade fair (including past cases).

v  Maximum of two MAI events in a year is allowed for each member participant.

v  Members should have completed 12 months of Membership of the council

Further, the participants who had completed 12 months of membership with the council and having exports upto FOB Value of Rs.30 crore in preceding year will be entitled for a travel grant reimbursement for the travel of Regular director/Partner/Proprietor of the company upto Rs.75000/- (economy class air travel) or actual (whichever is less) or lumpsum amount whichever is to be approved by Ministry.

 

4.Selection Criteria

 

Selection will be on First Come First Served basis. Preference will be given to registered holders of India Handloom Brand & first-time participant of handloom products so that there will be at least a minimum of 30% (6 participants) IHB / first time member exhibitors in the event provided their applications along with required payment are received on or before the last date of receipt of application as stipulated in the circular.

5. Payment details

A lumpsum of Rs.225000/- has to be paid along with the application.

Payment has to be made through any one of the following mode of payment.

Option-1: Online payment through payment gateway

Option-2: Payment through RTGS

Option-3: Payment through Demand Draft/at par multicity cheque in favour of Handloom Export Promotion Council payable at Chennai, if online/RTGS payment is not feasible.

Amount once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance except cancellation of fair participation by HEPC.
