Sub : Inviting applications from member exporters- HEPC’s participation in Heimtextil-2018, Frankfurt, Germany, during 9th-12 th January 2018 – Reg.
1.0 About Heimtextil-2018
Council proposes to participate in Heimtextil-2018, Frankfurt, Germany, during 9th - 12th January 2018
Last year, Council participated along with 50 member exporters from different regions across the country. As per the feedback received from the participants, spot order worth Rs.16.20 crore and business enquiries worth Rs.56.50 crore was generated during the event.
1.1 Product Profile :
Fair authority has stressed that product display in Halls should be only as follows:
For Hall 6.3
1. Floor, Wall, Sun, Window, Upholstery, Blanket (snuddle blankets, bed blankets and bed covers)
2. Contract Creations (floor, wall, window, sun, upholstery)
3. Fibres, yarns, fabrics, chemicals (floor, wall, window, sun, upholstery)
For Hall 10.3
1. Bed, Bath, Table
2. Contract Creation (Bed, bath, Table)
3. Fibre, yarns, fabrics chemicals (bed, bath, table)
1.2 Space availability:
Council is offering both raw space as well as standard constructed booth for participation in this event.
Minimum Stand size
|Standard constructed booth – 12m2|
|Raw space – 15m2|
To give better visibility for all stalls and to facilitate better product display the following booth sizes have been proposed to be offered from existing blocks allocated to HEPC

2.0 Participation fee details:

- No other grants is permissible since the participation is organized under MAI scheme
2.1 Application and Payment details:
Interested member exporters of handloom products may send 50% of total participation fee for the required space along with application
(application downloadable from https://www.hepcindia.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Application-FORM-International-2017-18-.pdf to the council on or before last date of receipt of application as stipulated in this circular. Payment has to be made through any one of the following mode of payment.
Option-1: Online payment through payment gateway
Option-2: Payment through RTGS
Option-3: Payment through Demand Draft/at par multicity cheque in favour of Handloom Export Promotion Council payable at Chennai, if online/RTGS payment is not feasible.

Amount once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance except cancellation of fair participation by HEPC.
Application received without payment will be invalid.
3.0 Grant Eligibility :
HEPC will be participating in this fair under MAI Scheme.
Member participants are entitled for participation under subsidised category availing grant only upto a maximum of three participations in a particular trade fair (including past cases).
Maximum of two MAI events in a year is allowed for each member participant.
No other subsidy including travel grant is permissible.
No limitation in terms of export turnover.
4.0 Selection Criteria:
Selection will be on First Come First Served basis. Preference will be given to registered holders of India Handloom Brand & first time participant of handloom products so that there will be at least a minimum of 30% (15 participants) IHB / first time member exhibitors in the event provided their applications along with required payment are received on or before the last date of receipt of application as stipulated in the circular.
Please be noted that your application should have the following mandatory information:
1. Area required in sq.mtrs.
2. Type of space (raw space / standard constructed booth)
3. Hall No.(6.3 / 10.3) as per your product profile (easyorder – product details to be indicated for Hall allocation)
