This is in continuation to our general circular dated 28thFebruary 2017, seeking expression of interest for Councils calendar of events for the year 2017-18
1.0 About Hometextiles/Apparel Sourcing Expo :
Home Textiles Sourcing Expo is one of the largest sourcing events in North America to solely focus on fabrics and finished soft goods for all home applications. Held annually in July alongside Texworld USA and the International Apparel Sourcing Show, the shows create one of the largest fabric sourcing destinations for the North American marketplace. Home Textiles Sourcing Expo provides manufacturers, retailers, jobbers, converters, contract specifiers and designers a one stop sourcing venue to locate new fabrics and products for their latest collections.

1.2 Product profile (Apparel Sourcing):
Apparel sourcing USA features many product groups to help our visitors find the specific fabrics they are looking to source.
1.3 Previous edition performance :
The seventh edition of Hometextile Sourcing Expo/Apparel Sourcing Expo held during 12th 14thJuly 2016 was co-located with Texworld USA and the International Apparel Sourcing show. About 182 buyers visited our member stalls from places all over the US. The total trade enquiries generated for member participants was to the tune of about Rs.3.88 crore and spot orders booked was to the tune of about Rs.1.04 crore i.e. USD 1,59,500.
2.0 Stall details:
Minimum size of the standard booth is 9 sq.mtrs. Additional sq.mtrs. in multiples of 3 sq.mtrs. Each 9 sq. meter exhibit space includes the following as a package

3.0 Participation fee:
|Cost of 9 sq.mtr. booth Subsidized rate||Rs.2,34,000/-|
|Cost of every additional 3 sq.mtr. space Non- Subsidized rate||Rs.1,44,000/-|
Cost of corner stall – Additional 10% (only if applicable)
3.1 Payment :
Interested member exporters of handloom products may send their initial participation fee of 50% of total participation charges for the required space along with application ( application downloadable from http://www.hepcindia.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Application-FORM-International-2017-18-.pdfto the council on or before last date of receipt of application as stipulated in the circular.

(In case of payment through bank transfer, please quote your company name in remarks column for tracking the payment. UTR number needs to be specified in the application)
Payment can also be made through Demand Draft/ at par multicity cheque in favour of Handloom Export Promotion Council payable at Chennai, if RTGS payment is not feasible. Amount once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance except cancellation of fair participation by HEPC.
3.2 Grant Details:
HEPC has proposed participation in this fair under National Handloom Development Programme of Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms).
- Member participants are entitled for participation under subsidised category availing grant only upto a maximum of three participations in a particular trade fair (including past cases).
- Participants with annual export turnover of less than Rs.30 crore in the preceding financial year (2016-17) and having minimum 12 months membership with the Council will be eligible for subsidized participation charges .
- Each participant company (for one person) will also be eligible for Travel grant reimbursement of Rs.50,000/- (Economy class) or actual travel cost, whichever is less.
Participation in only one event in a calendar month is allowed.
4.0 Selection Criteria:
Application received without payment will be invalid. Selection of participants will be considered on First come First Serve basis. However, preference will be given to first time member participant of handloom products so that there will be at least a minimum of 30% (three) first time member exhibitors in the event provided their applications are received on or before the last date of receipt of application as stipulated in the circular.
