DOMOTEX FAIR 2007
The world's best known trade show for carpets and floor coverings has been organized by Deutsche Messe in Hannover , Germany from 13 th the 16 th January, 2007. Around 1250 exhibitors from 60 countries in total net exhibition area of around 90,500 m 2 spread over 12 halls have presented their innovations and latest trends at Domotex 2007.
The council has participated in the Domotex 2007 with 15 member participants in a total area of 192 m 2 under MDA scheme of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. Shri Lakshmi Narayan, Assistant has been deputed to coordinate the fair. Following member exporters have participated in Domotex 2007.

Shri Shankersinh Vaghela, Hon'ble Minister of Textiles visited Domotex 2007 on the forenoon of inaugural day with Mr.Qaiser Shamim, Jt. Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Shri Satyan Sharda, Addl. Development Commissioner (Handlooms) and interacted with member particpants.
About 257 buyers mainly from Europe & few buyers from USA visited our 15 member exporters. It is ascertained from our participants that they have booked confirmed spot orders worth of Rs.2,87,55,000/- & bagged potential enquires worth of Rs.3,77,55,000/-. Almost all the participants have expressed their interest to continue their participation in Domotex 2008.
