Tex-Styles India – 2008, New Delhi (Feb-Mar’08)

The Tex-Styles India Fair is being organised by ITPO since 1994. It is Country's premier international fair for yarns, fabrics and made-up items. Tex-styles India has established itself as the largest fair of Indian textiles held anywhere in the world and its global recognition has placed it on the world map of reputed textiles shows. This is one of the important international fair which show causes the entire strength of Indian Textiles. Since this event is gaining popularity and attracting more number of buyers as it is coinciding with the Handicrafts Fair in New Delhi. . HEPC is taking part in this event every year.

India Handicrafts & Gift Fair (Spring), Greater Noida. (February, 2008)

Domotex, Hannover, Germany (13th to 16th January’08)

This fair is one of the leading International fairs on carpets and floor coverings and it is organised by Carpet Export Promotion Council. Domotex is really quite unique. As the world’s No.1 trade show for carpets and floor coverings, it serves as an annual summit meeting for market leaders from all over the world. Major suppliers from all sectors of the trade provide an extensive overview of the world market. Domotex is more than a showcase of modern products. Over the years it has become an important force encouraging the development of business in the international home and commercial property markets. Exhibitors find that the excellent trade show infrastructure and the ideal business setting are the ticket to success. Some 60% of the visitors come from abroad. Council is participating in this event for the fifth time.

Heimtextil 2008, Frankfurt , Germany. ( January 2008 )

Heimtextil is one of the biggest international trade fair for Home Textiles and commercially used textiles. It is being organised by the Messe Frankfurt and marketed by Messee Frankfurt Trade Fairs India P.Ltd. Mumbai. This fair attracts the buyers from more than 70 countries covering all the continents. This fair presents the global trend forecast for the coming years and it is a trendsetter for the forthcoming season. It is very useful to exporters especially upcoming companies to establish new business contacts and develop new export leads. Council is regularly taking part in this event.

Hong Kong Houseware fair, Hong Kong, 21st to 24th April 2007

The Hongkong Houseware Fair is the largest of its kind in Asia for exploring the international market for home textile items. This fair is organized by Hong Kong Trade Development Council. This is one of the important fair with a special focus on Home Textile segment. Last year, Council participated with 21 member participants.  The stalls of our member exporters attracted more than 852 trade visitors and generated enquiries worth over Rs. 8.36 crores and spot orders were booked for Rs…2.51 crores.  This year 21 member exporters were participated in this event through HEPC.

EVTEK, Istanbul, Turkey, May 2007

HEPC proposes to participate in the EVTEKS 2007 - 13th International Home Textiles Exhibition, at CNR EXPO, Istanbul, Turkey organised by  ITF Istanbul Trade Fairs, Turkey. After the expansion of the European Union, and the inclusion of Turkey into the EU, Turkey has become the gateway of the European Union market.  Turkey has access to the Central and the Western EU countries.  The Council feels that participation in this fair will not only enable the Indian exporters to boost the exports to Turkey, but it would also serve as a gateway for tapping the International market like Iran, England, Israel, Russia, Greece and Germany.  Council is participating for the 3rd time in this event.  This year 17 member exporters were participated in this event through HEPC.

18th India Home Furnishing Fair (BSM), Tokyo, Japan, 12th to 14th June 2007

This fair is being organised by ITPO alternating in Tokyo and Osaka for the last 17 years and the Council has been regularly participating in this event. The event is well established and all major buyers of Home Furnishings look forward to visit this event for sourcing their requirements from India. This year  fair is being held at Tokyo. Council has already issued a circular inviting the applications & Registration is closed for this event.   This year 11 member exporters are participating in this event through HEPC.

GLOBAL HOME TEXTILE FAIR, 8-10 MAY, ORLANDO, USA

Global Home Textiles™ has proven its value to both buyers and sellers. During its inception as part of the New York Home Textiles Show® and the Home Textiles Market Week™, it created an efficient way to reach a wide range of market segments, from importers and high-volume retailers to product development and design teams.

And starting in May 2007, Global Home Textiles™ will run concurrently with the Gourmet Housewares Show® and the National Hardware Show®. This exciting combination will deliver more than 40,000 visiting professionals, including buyers from North America’s largest department stores, mass merchants, specialty chains, home improvement centers, catalog companies and online retailers.

Council has already issued a circular inviting the applications & Registration is closed for this event. Council is participating with 11 member exporters for the second time in this event.

Domotex Middle East, Dubai, 10th to 12th June 2007

DOMOTEX Middle East is an International Trade Fair for carpets and floor coverings. This fair is organized by Deutsche Messe Ag Branch Dubai in Foundation, Dubai. Dubai’s exponential economic growth and business friendly environment has resulted in Dubai achieving the status as the commercial, economic, business and financial hub of the Middle East. Council has already issued a circular inviting the applications & Registration is closed for this event.  Council is participating with 7 member exporters for the second time in this event.

Pret a Porter, Paris  6th -9th September’07

Pret a Porter Paris – a fair for fashion and fashion accessories will be held in Paris , France during 6th-9th September’07. The event is organised twice in a year and February’07 edition has reportedly had a floor space of 65000sq.mtrs with 1550 labels and attracted about 41000 visitors. Of which 40.2% are reportedly international visitors from the following top 10 countries like Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Japan, Belgium, Greece, Germany , Switzerland , USA and Russia. Council prposes to participate in this event  with 10 member exporters.

Heimtextil India, Mumbai ( 10th to 13th October 2007 )

This International Home Fabrics and Accessories Fair provides exhibitors and visitors from all over the world a complete business net working platform in one of the world’s fastest developing markets. The Heimtextil brand has been serving the industry for over 30 years internationally and is synonymous with high quality. Council has been participating in this event every year. This event is organized by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt. Ltd., and gaining popularity year after year. Council has already issued a circular inviting the applications & Registration is closed for this event. This year 21 member exporters are participating in this event through HEPC.  

India Handicrafts & Gift Fair (Autumn), Greater Noida. ( 16th to 19th October 2007 )
