India Show Sao Paulo , Brazil ( 6-11 th March'07)
India Trade Promotion organised  "Indian Trade Exhibition" , an exclusive event at Sao Paulo , Brazil during 6-11th March' 2007.The event was organised at Green Pavilion, Expo Centre Norte , Sao Paulo, Brazil during 6-11th March'07.  HEPC participated in this event with 3 member delegation .
The product profile of the event included Textiles and clothing , carpets and textile floor coverings , home furnishings , apparel and clothing accessories agri business & food processing , health and hospital equipments , drugs and pharmaceuticals , biotech , infrastructure  automotive industries , IT & software , Engineering machinery , Appliances  , Gems and jewellery , gift articles, etc.,  The details about the event is available at www.itpo-indiashow-saopaulo.com.

Tex-Styles India – 2007, New Delhi (Feb/Mar’07)
The Tex-Styles India Fair is being organised by ITPO since 1994. It is Country’s premier international fair for yarns, fabrics and made-up items. Tex-styles India has established itself as the largest fair of Indian textiles held anywhere in the world and its global recognition has placed it on the world map of reputed textiles shows. This is one of the important international fair which show causes the entire strength of Indian Textiles. Since this event is gaining popularity and attracting more number of buyers as it is coinciding with the Handicrafts Fair in New Delhi. . HEPC is taking part in this event every year. Indian Handicrafts and Gift Fair (Spring– 2006), New Delhi (22nd to 26th Feb'07)
The Indian Handicrafts & Gifts Fair (Spring) is being organised by Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts. This fair attracts large number of buyers from all over the world. Council proposes to participate in this event for the second time.

Spring Fair, Birmingham (UK), Feb' 2007
Spring Fair has been regarded as the international point of reference for the global gifts , jewellary and home trade industry . The spring fair 2006 attracted 4000 exhibitors from over 50 countries . The Organisers claim that about 80,000 world’s best buyers are expected to visit the event with more than half of them at Director level and 1 in 10 are from overseas and having the powers to conclude the contracts. This is a multi product fair having a special focus on the  Textile Items, Apparel / Clothing, Fashion Accessories, Furniture & Lighting, Home Furnishing segment of textiles. Council is participating in this event for the second time. Domotex, Hannover, Germany (13th to 16th January’07)
This fair is one of the leading International fairs on carpets and floor coverings and it is organised by Carpet Export Promotion Council. Domotex is really quite unique. As the world’s No.1 trade show for carpets and floor coverings, it serves as an annual summit meeting for market leaders from all over the world. Major suppliers from all sectors of the trade provide an extensive overview of the world market. Domotex is more than a showcase of modern products. Over the years it has become an important force encouraging the development of business in the international home and commercial property markets. Exhibitors find that the excellent trade show infrastructure and the ideal business setting are the ticket to success. Some 60% of the visitors come from abroad. Council is participating in this event for the fourth time. Heimtextil Fair, Frankfurt, Germany (10th to 13th January ’07)
Heimtextil is one of the biggest international trade fair for Home Textiles and commercially used textiles. It is being organised by the Messe Frankfurt and marketed by Messee Frankfurt Trade Fairs India P.Ltd. Mumbai. This fair attracts the buyers from more than 70 countries covering all the continents. This fair presents the global trend forecast for the coming years and it is a trendsetter for the forthcoming season. It is very useful to exporters especially upcoming companies to establish new business contacts and develop new export leads. Council is regularly taking part in this event. FATEX FAIR , Paris, France, November, 2006
FATEX, is one of the renowned international trade fairs being held in Paris for the past 21 years. FATEX has witnessed a constant increase in the number of visitors, which has doubled over the past 10 years which clearly testifies the high quality of the show’s exhibitors and the wide variety it offers. Currently it has over 6,900 visitors in its rolls, including 25% from outside of France. A separate Home Textile segment has been included in this fair from last year. Index Fair/BSM (Lungies), Dubai (7-11 November 2006)
HEPC is going to participate in Index Fair to be held at Dubai during 7 th to 11 th November, 2006. Index is being held annually in Dubai and Index has established itself as the largest and most prestigious event of its kind in the Middle East and Asia. Last year (15 th edition), this fair has attracted exhibitors from more than 50 countries. The product profile includes floor coverings, interior textiles, Bed linen, Curtain and window products etc. The visitors profile include Leading architects, interior designers, contractors, Trade and private buyers, Importers, agents and distributors from all over the Middle East. More than 30% visitors come from Iran, India, Pakistan, North and East Africa and other GCC (Gulf Co-operation Council) countries. Council proposes to participate in this event for the first time so as to increase our market share in Middle East Countries.

Indian Handicrafts & Gift Fair (AUTUMN), New Delhi (13th to 17th October 2006)
The Indian Handicarfts & Gift Fair (Autumn) is one of the leading international fairs for Handicrafts and Home Textile items being held at New Delhi. Since the product profiles of this event is matching to our members profiles, HEPC has started participating in this fair in the past 3 years. This is one of the renowned trade fair being organised by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts, New Delhi.

Heimtextil India, Mumbai ( 10th to 13th October 2006 )
This International Home Fabrics and Accessories Fair provides exhibitors and visitors from all over the world a complete business net working platform in one of the world’s fastest developing markets. The Heimtextil brand has been serving the industry for over 30 years internationally and is synonymous with high quality. Council has been participating in this event every year. This event is organized by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt. Ltd., and gaining popularity year after year. Council has already issued a circular inviting the applications & Registration is closed for this event. This year 12 member exporters are participating in this event through HEPC.  

TITAS –2006, Taiwan (3rd to 5th October 2006 )
“TITAS 2006”, the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show, is scheduled to be held at Taipei, Taiwan. This fair is being organised by Taiwan Textile Federation, Taipei (Taiwan). This is an internationally renowned show, which provides a new platform with new strategies to the global buyers for sourcing their textile products in Asia. TITAS  will focus on middle and upstream yarn and fabric products, emphasizing high value added functional textiles and evoking fashion trends that will make Taipei a co-operative meeting points to bring together the Asian manufacturers and international buyers. Council is participating in this event for the second time. Last year, Council participated in the TITAS fair with 5 participants and they had received 276 visitors in their stalls. Spot / sample export orders to the worth of Rs.30 lakhs were generated in the event and enquiries generated which are likely to become orders was to the tune of Rs.3.10 crores. Heimtextil Rossija, Russia ( 19 th to 22 nd September 2006)
This is a fair for home Textiles, Floor Coverings and Interior Furnishings, being organised by the reputed fair organizers viz. Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Ltd., the Asian co-ordinators of Messe Frankfurt GmbH, Germany. The fair is scheduled to be held at Crocus Expo Exhibition Centre, Moscow, Russia, from 19 th to 22 nd September, 2006. HEPC is organizing this fair under exploratory basis and therefore establishing a Central Promotional Stall measuring 9 sq.mtrs. for display of the products of the member exporters. The Council will be displaying the various products gathered from our member exporters, and the enquiries generated during the event will be passed-on to the respective exporters for necessary follow-up.

Tip 2005 / Prêt pour la maison, Brussels, Belgium (8-11 Sept’06)
This fair is being organised by TradeLink Company UK at Brussels in Belgium. This is one of the well established fair exclusively for home textiles which attracts more buyers. This fair is being organised simultaneously with DECOSIT (a well known fair for upholstery materials) in which Indian companies are not allowed. Maison & Objet, France (1st to  5th September 2006)
As per Embassy of India  market report , total imports of household and furnishing textiles into France grew steadily in the period 2001-03 ; in volume (18%) and in value (9%). Imports from  developing countries has shown a growth of 14% in the period 2001-03. Maison & Objet fair is being organised by SALONS FRANCAIS ET INTERNATIONAUX, Paris , France twice a year  for the products of International home-style, home decoration , giftware and table ware .  The event confirms its growing position as the place of creativity and quality for the interior design and decoration industries by bringing together 3000 national and international exhibitors. More than 70000 buyers from France and the rest of the world are expected to attend the fair. Council will be participating for the first time in this event . Council has already issued a circular inviting the applications & Registration is closed for this event. The Council would finalize list of the participants after initial screening of the participants by Fair Authority.

Domotex Middle East, Dubai, UAE (28th to 30th May 2006)
DOMOTEX Middle East is an International Trade Fair for carpets and floor coverings. This fair is organized by Deutsche Messe Ag Branch Dubai in Foundation, Dubai. Dubai ’s exponential economic growth and business friendly environment has resulted in Dubai achieving the status as the commercial, economic, business and financial hub of the Middle East. Council has already issued a circular inviting the applications & Registration is closed for this event.  Council is participating with 5 member exporters for the first time in this event.



17th India Home Furnishing Fair (BSM), Osaka (Japan) (23rd to 25th May 2006)
This fair is being organised by ITPO alternating in Tokyo and Osaka for the last 16 years and the Council has been regularly participating in this event. The event is well established and all major buyers of Home Furnishings look forward to visit this event for sourcing their requirements from India. This year  fair is being held at Osaka. Council has already issued a circular inviting the applications & Registration is closed for this event.   This year 12 member exporters are participating in this event through HEPC.



EVTEKS 2006, Istanbul, Turkey (17-21st May 2006)
HEPC proposes to participate in the EVTEKS 2006 - 12th International Home Textiles Exhibition, at CNR EXPO, Istanbul, Turkey organised by  ITF Istanbul Trade Fairs, Turkey. After the expansion of the European Union, and the inclusion of Turkey into the EU, Turkey has become the gateway of the European Union market.  Turkey has access to the Central and the Western EU countries.  The Council feels that participation in this fair will not only enable the Indian exporters to boost the exports to Turkey, but it would also serve as a gateway for tapping the International market like Iran, England, Israel, Russia, Greece and Germany.  Council is participating for the 2nd time in this event.  Council has already issued a circular inviting the applications & Registration is closed for this event.   This year 6 member exporters are participating in this event  HEPC.



Hong Kong Houseware Fair, Hong Kong (21st to 24th April'06)
The Hongkong Houseware Fair is the largest of its kind in Asia for exploring the international market for home textile items. This fair is organized by Hong Kong Trade Development Council. This is one of the important fair with a special focus on Home Textile segment. Last year, Council participated with 10 member participants and fair had received a record no. of 31,509 visitors from 145 countries with more than 17,000 overseas trade buyers.  The stalls of our member exporters attracted more than 475 trade visitors and generated enquiries worth over Rs.278.5 lakhs and spot orders were booked for Rs.163.5 lakhs.  Council has already issued a circular inviting the applications & Registration is closed for this event. This year 21 member exporters are participating in this event through HEPC.
