28th Export Awards:
Council has been presenting Awards for best export performance of Handloom Products every year. The 27th Export Awards function was held during July 06, 2018 at Chennai.
Dr. K.N.Prabhu, Chairman, HEPC welcomed the dignitaries, awardees and other guests. In his welcome address, he congratulated the awardees and highlighted the uniqueness of Indian Handlooms.
Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, Hon'ble Minister for Textiles, Govt. of India has presented 48 awards to the member exporters for the excellent export performance for the years 2014-15 and 2015-16 under the following categories:-
